YOUR TEXAS DRIVING RESOURCE

Privacy

Use the tools without giving us your identity.

Planning tools

The license planner runs in your browser. It does not ask for your name, birth date, address, or license number. The practice worksheet and checkboxes remain in the current page and reset when you leave or reload. Print a copy if you want to keep it.

Privacy-conscious measurement

We use a small, first-party measurement system to understand which resources are useful and whether readers follow course links. It records page views, browser-tab visits, License Planner starts and completions, and clicks to Gulf Breeze course pages. Reports distinguish English and Spanish pages, broad traffic sources (such as Google search), landing pages, and the course link selected.

The measurement system does not record your name, email, birth date, license number, planner answers, practice notes, IP address, or full referring URL. It does not send analytics to Google or another analytics provider. Google Search Console separately provides search-performance reports from Google.

Temporary session storage in your browser tab remembers the landing page, broad traffic source and whether a planner event was already counted. It expires logically after 30 minutes without a measured interaction and normally disappears when the tab closes. No analytics cookies or cross-site visitor identifiers are created. If session storage is unavailable, counts may be less accurate. We skip measurement when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. We keep daily aggregate counts for up to 13 months, with removal during the next scheduled cleanup.

Course referrals and purchases

Links to Gulf Breeze courses include campaign tags identifying this website, the page, and its language. These tags contain no planner answers or student identity. Gulf Breeze handles enrollment and payment under its own privacy practices. Its existing WooCommerce order attribution may associate a referral with an order during a browsing session. Our private reports may include manually verified weekly totals of paid enrollments, new customers and net revenue; we do not copy student identities or order records into this website’s measurement system.

Website operation

The hosting service may process basic request information, including IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. Those operational logs are separate from our aggregate measurement. WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in. We do not add advertising trackers.

Links and email

DPS, TDLR, and Gulf Breeze operate their own websites and privacy practices. Clicking a link takes you to that service. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send. Send only what is needed to answer your question.
